Following Barcelona and Madrid, the Portuguese capital is the third Iberian city with this new timetable.

In a statement, the company explains that the extension of Glovo supermarket delivery hours “will allow users to order, at any time of the day, fresh grocery products”, as well as “hygiene and baby products, cleaning products, pet food and even stationery and technology.”

Glovo Express currently has nine stores open in Portugal with a variety of around 2,000 products for quick purchases of convenience products. In addition, the Glovo app will also have menus from the McDonald’s stores in Padre Cruz and Saldanha available 24 hours a day.

“The Glovo Express service has had a strong adherence by users in the cities where it is already present, with demand registering a significant growth, above double digits in the last six months”, said Joaquín Vázquez, responsible for Glovo in Portugal.
