The number of air travel complaints in Portugal rose by 35 percent last year to just under 11,000.
According to the National Civil Aviation Agency, the main reasons for complaints were flight delays, cancelations and lost or damaged luggage.
TAP Air Portugal led the overall complaints list.
The national flag carrier was responsible for 6,000 complaints, which is up 50 percent on 2016. SATA Air Açores, was next was 1,000 complaints, followed by Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport.
