Algarve nurses ask for 35-hour weeks

Nurses working for the Centro Hospitalar do Algarve, which manages the region’s state hospitals, have this week handed in a petition to the Health Minister demanding a reduction in working hours from 40 to 35

Nurses are also opposing an alleged practice where some are allowed to work 35 hours while others are told to work five hours extra.
