According to advisories issued by the Met Office, fire departments in Tavira, Alcoutim and Castro Marim will be on the highest level of alert as a result of the prevailing weather conditions.
Loulé, São Brás de Alportel, Silves, Lagos, Aljezur and Portimãowill meanwhile be on orange alert.
