This year’s annual meeting of Portuguese ambassadors has the former Italian prime minister, Enrico Letta, as the key note speaker, who will talk about “Europe towards the end of the legislature: time to act”. On the second day of the meeting, it will be the turn of Frances minister of Europe and foreign affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian.

Various Portuguese ministers, including the minister of foreign affairs and all the secretaries of state from the foreign ministry are going to participate in the event.

The opening ceremony on Wednesday morning was to include the chairman of the Fundação Oriente, Carlos Monjardino, and the foreign minister, Augusto Santos Silva.
