Another wet weekend on the way

There are no more storms on the radar for the moment – after Emma, Felix and Gisele battered Portugal in recent weeks – but more rain, at times heavy, is forecast for the weekend. Generally, the first half of next week should be dry and partly sunny, but then the rain returns from next Thursday onwards.

Lisbon: The capital will have a rather wet weekend, with heavy rain falling on Saturday, before easing up slightly on Sunday to let sunny spells through. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry and brighter, albeit chillier at night, and rain returns from the latter half of next week.
South: It’s a similar scenario to Lisbon for the Algarve, with rain, heavier on Saturday, falling over the weekend. The coming week is looking bright and dry, although those overnight lows will dip to around 5 degrees Celsius, and light scattered showers will return for the coming weekend.

North: The worst of the rain will fall in the north before this weekend, lightening up somewhat for Saturday and Sunday, and for most of the coming week will be partly cloudy and cool, before showers return from next Thursday onwards.
