The operation started at 6.30am Thursday morning and ran until 6.30am Friday morning.
By 10am Thursday some 300 vehicles had been checked by the 130 ASAE inspectors taking part in the operation, resulting in the confiscation of 200 kilos of illegally-caught seafood.
