British registered plane crashes in Spain

A small aircraft that took off from Tires aerodrome near Cascais, and crashed in the Basque Country, in Spain on Wednesday, had a British registration number and carried two occupants, an aeronautical source told Lusa News Agency.

According to the source, the occupants of the aircraft, which had four seats, are foreign nationals, possibly English. Spanish news agency EFE said the aircraft crashed in Errezil, Basque Country, where rescue teams managed to recover the body of one of the crew members.
