Provisional data released by the Minister of Home Affairs shows that general crime last year fell by six percent in relation to 2013, while serious and violent crime fell by four percent.
The figures were revealed by Minister Anabela Rodrigues who was speaking in Parliament for the first time since taking over as the head of the Parliamentary Committee for Freedom and Rights.
