Manchester City’s highly valued David Silva might be on his way to Real Madrid but it is his namesake who has signed a two year deal with Portuguese Premier Liga side Olhanense.

The 25 year-old winger was with Scottish side Kilmarnock last season after spells in Bulgaria and Spain.

The Algarve side have also signed Elvis Macedo Babanco. The central midfield Cape Verde international was with Liga D’Honor side Arouca last campaign.

A number of foreign sides have been tracking midfield revelation Cauê but it seems more than likely that he will join SC Braga whilst Fernando Alexandre and Vinicius may be returning to Olhanense as part of the deal.

Midfielder Nuno Piloto has signed a twelve month extension to his contract. Piloto was seriously injured in November last year but is now fully fit and could be an influential member of Sérgio Conceição’s revamped squad. Farense’s 21 year-old Pedro Eugénio could soon be making the short journey down the coast.

Eugénio was outstanding as Farense gained promotion last season.
