Eight Portuguese movies are in the running for a prize at the festival, three of which have been put forward for the festival’s top prize, the Golden Bear.
The jury that decides the awarding of the Golden and Silver bear prizes will be presided over by the three-time Academy Award winning actress Meryl Streep.
