This comes following a pledge by the government to have 50 rapid charging stations operational by the end of the year.
The latest charging point was opened by Environment Minister João Pedro Matos Fernandes at the Aljustrel Galp fuel station on the A2 motorway.
Additional points this week opened at the other Galp fuel stops on the Lisbon-Algarve motorway at Alcácer do Sal and Palmela, along with the two fuel stops on the A22 motorway at Loulé.

Any idea of the charge (ahem) for the electricity from these charging points? (In Euros, that is, just for clarity ;) )
