Families spend almost €400 on school material

in News · 07-09-2017 12:18:00 · 0 Comments

Portuguese families spend an average of 393 euros on stationery and books for their children at the beginning of the school year.

The figures are based on research compiled by a personal credit company, which says this value is at its lowest since 2013. This is a substantial drop from the record high of 530 euros recorded in 2015, and is partially explained by more books being paid for by the state since the Socialist government came to power.
