Faro is gearing up to host its 34th Academic Week; considered one of the largest gatherings south of the Tagus, some 36,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event.

Organised by the Algarve University, it takes place between 2 and 11 May, with popular national acts including Blaya, Toy, Deejay Telio, Papillon and Ana Malhoa taking the stage for the nightly entertainment, as well as British band Rudimental.
