Speaking at the annual Pontal Festivities in the Algarve town of Quarteira, the former Portuguese Prime Minister accused the government of not tackling tough issues as it lacked the courage to do so. He also said that the Socialists, backed by the Left Bloc and the Communists had nothing to offer economically, which would eventually lead to stagnation and conflict with creditors, European institutions and investors.
