An EC representative in Portugal has said total investment here to date has been 1.2 billion euros, and is expected to generate additional private investment 3.8 billion euros.
The Juncker Plan covers all EU member states, with Brussels expected to boost it by a further 200 billion euros from its current figure of 300 billion euros by the year 2020.
