Lisbon-Brazil flight forced to make U-turn following hydraulics problems

A flight from Lisbon to Campinas in Brazil has been forced to return to the Portuguese capital after suffering problems with the hydraulics.

According to newspaper Correio da Manhã, the aircraft was around an hour into its transatlantic journey and over Madeira, when the pilot made the decision to return to the Portuguese capital.

Around 250 passengers were onboard the Airbus A330, belonging to Brazilian airline Azul, which departed from Lisbon last Friday (2 December) at 10.43am and landed back there around three hours later.
