A total of 69 deals, amounting to 30,000m2 of occupied space were secured during the first three months of 2015, which is up 70 percent from the same period in 2014 and 60 percent above the average for the past five years.
The biggest deal was the occupation of 4,085 m2 by Worten in the Parque Suécia in Carnaxide.
Insurance brokers Allianz were responsible for taking up the next biggest space, moving to a 3,000m2 building in central Lisbon.
The capital’s so-called Western Corridor followed by the Park of Nations in the east of the city were the areas that enjoyed the most interest from buyers, representing 50 percent of all concluded deals.
