More terrestrial channels from this week
A law increasing the number of channels provided by digital terrestrial TV or DTT came into force this week and national broadcaster RTP has three months to include RTP3 and RTP Memory in the platform.
The cabinet decided on 8 July that RTP3 and RTP Memória should be provided on DTT without advertising, which will be replaced with cultural information.
DTT currently shows RTP1, RTP2, SIC, TVI and the parliamentary channel on the platform which is managed by MEO.
