From 24 September each ticket will cost 50 cents more and it will become compulsory to also play on the Toto draw, which is a new social game. The first draw of the new game takes place on 30 September and altogether one bet will cost €2.50.
Meanwhile, the Euromillions jackpot has climbed by 9 million euros after no player across the continent managed to correctly select the winning numbers in Tuesday night’s draw.
One player in Portugal missed winning the 46 million euros on offer by one (un)lucky star number, and will collect 470,000 euros instead. An additional seven players here had both lucky stars and four of the five winning numbers, which only gave them the 5,600 euro fourth prize.
The winning numbers in Tuesday’s draw were 2, 26, 34, 37 and 46, while the lucky stars were 4 and 8.
