Next year’s state budget allocates less money for Algarve’s health

The draft for next year’s state budget allocates less money for spending on health in the Algarve.

According to Sul Informacação, the budget foresees a reduction of €19 million for the Algarve’s central health system.

Algarve PSD MP Cristóvão Norte denounced the situation, saying the region already struggles with chronic shortages and waiting times that span up to four years.
