It then went on to say that “Novo Banco had a pre-tax loss of €355.6 million, which was actually 34.7 percent better than in the same period last year, but given the decision not to record additional tax deferrals, the net loss was €419.2 million.
The bank told the Portuguese Stock Exchange Commission (CMVM) it had an operating profit of €207.6 million, “slightly less than the €217.7 million seen in the first three quarters of last year”.
