Out of the total, 1,636 were awarded a pass mark (over 50 percent), and 854 failed.
The average mark was just slightly over the pass grade, at 56.2 percent.
In the part of the exam where the teachers had to write a text, 21.9 percent got zero, but the average was 10.1 points out of 20.
In this part of the exam, it was also possible to see that over 65 percent of the teachers made at least one spelling mistake and almost 20 percent of the teachers made five or more spelling mistakes.
The exam, taken by all contracted teachers with less than five years’ experience is essential to continue their careers.
