The district of Oporto turned in the most infringements with the police dealing with 4,385 such infractions over the first 11 months of this year with Lisbon in second place but back on 3,406 such incidents.
Furthermore, Aveiro (2,973), Braga (2,220) and Faro (1,937) all turned infringement levels in excess of their population weightings whilst Bragança (368), Beja (310), Guarda (283) and Portalegre (181) made up the opposite end of the scale.
