Apart from António Costa, who is participating in the World Economic Forum for the second time other Portuguese will be there, including the economy minister, Manuel Caldeira Cabral, and the finance minister, Mário Centeno, - though he is there as the chair of Eurogroup -, as well as the European Research, Science and Innovation commissioner, Carlos Moedas.

"Portugal left the EU Excessive Deficit Procedure in 2017 and in the last two months two of the main rating agencies have removed the country for the junk investment rating.

The World Economic Forum is an excellent chance to put Portugal on the front line for world investors showing our good indicators", the prime minister said.
