Reports indicate that the two, who are both aged 17, are the sons of the Iraqi Ambassador in Lisbon and are alleged to have attacked the victim in the Alentejo town of Ponte de Sor on Wednesday.
The victim is said to be in a serious condition having suffered multiple blows to the head and remains in a coma in an intensive care unit at Lisbon’s Santa Maria Hospital.
