Police shut down Lisbon club after series of beatings

This came after officials confirmed on Friday that 38 reports had been filed against the nightclub this year for assault on patrons by the club's bouncers.

Videos posted on Facebook and other social media platforms showed a group of bouncers violently attacking club goers, including one case of a bouncer stamping on a young man's head.

I went to the club in mid August to this year. When being denied entry a friend of mine verbally confronted the bouncer and got sucker punched in the jaw. My friend started filming and was immediately put in chokehold and beaten to the floor - he has Asthma- when I intervened i was beaten by four men and suffered from concussion and multiple bruises all over my body. My younger sister witnessed all of this and started shouting and that's when they got physical with her, pulling her hair on several meters. These "dogs" stopped immediately when their supperior made a small hand gesture. True animals.

My partner and I were at urban beach 2 months ago. We were in portugal for 2 weeks and stopped in for some dancing. They pushed me... my girlfriend who ways 115 pounds. They verbally assualted us... and continually physicaly harrassed us. They held us against our will. I had to call the police... and have 2 officers escort us to our taxi. Glad to hear!
