in Algarve · 13-07-2017 13:58:00 · 0 Comments

Last weekend, Firefighters in Portimão rescued two dogs that were in trouble at a local ETAR waste water treatment plant, one of which had fallen into a water basin, and the other which was teetering on the edge and also at risk of falling in.

Five firemen were sent to the plant on Saturday afternoon, after the alarm was raised by a local who saw the animals in difficulties.
Newspaper Correio da Manhã reported that the two large dogs – believed to be a Labrador and a Portuguese perdigueiro - were successfully rescued and did not appear to be injured but ran off as soon as they were out of danger.
