Portugal fares poorly for bullying

in News · 02-11-2017 13:54:00 · 0 Comments

Portugal has outranked the United States in terms of the number of cases of bullying reported by children.

According to a new report compiled by children’s organisation UNICEF, Portugal ranks 15th for the number of bullying cases reported in Europe and North America. The report, entitled: “A Familiar Face: Violence against children and adolescents” found that between 31 and 40 percent of Portuguese children aged between 11 and 15 had been the victims of bullying in the two months immediately preceding the study.
