Portugal’s growth rate to decelerate - Top banker

The former chief of Portugal’s bank Novo Banco, Vítor Bento, has warned that Portugal’s growth rate would “inevitably decelerate” and that the country would fail to deliver sustainable growth.

The chief executive of SIBS, Portugal’s unified banking payments system, made the comment during the presentation of proposals by the Confederation of Portuguese Business (CIP) for the country’s 2019 state budget.
