Portuguese restaurant owner murdered in Johannesburg



A Portuguese restaurant owner has been murdered in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The owner of the Lusitano restaurant in Regents Park in the city's south, was shot and killed yesterday morning during a one-man robbery as he prepared to open the establishment.

According to local reports the victim is 43-year-old Roberto Carlos da Silva, the son of emigrants from Madeira.
