Ryanair announces weekly flight between London and Azores

This coming winter Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is to launch a weekly direct flight between London and Ponta Delgada in the Azores.

The company’s Head of Operations Michael Hickey said talks are ongoing with the Azores government to create new routes to the archipelago.

Ryanair currently operates daily flights between the islands and Lisbon and Porto.
