Lisbon: The Portuguese capital will be among the warmest places in Europe this weekend, as thermometers are set to climb to 34 degrees Celsius this Sunday, before a slight drop in the coming week, but temperatures will still stay above the 30 degree mark for the coming week.
The South: Southern Portugal will be very hot in the coming days, with little or no breeze to speak of. The Algarve will see temperatures in their mid-30s at least until the middle of next week, while the Alentejo can expect highs bordering on 40 degrees Celsius.
The North: Northern Portugal will be slightly milder than the remainder of the country, with highs not forecast to breach the 30-degree barrier, but will still remain unseasonably warm and dry nonetheless, with plenty of sunshine and a few scattered clouds around.
