Lisbon: The capital will become progressively warmer into the weekend, with thermometers set to peak at 31 degrees this Sunday. The coming week will see Lisbon stay warm, but temperatures will return to seasonal averages with 25-degrees the high forecast for most days next week.
The South: Southern Portugal will be very hot in the coming days, with very little wind or cloud cover expected. The Mercury is set to rise to around the 30-degree mark by Sunday, with little change in temperatures forecast for the remainder of the week.
The North: Northern Portugal will see dramatic fluctuations in the weather in the coming week, with highs rising from 19 this Friday to 30 by Sunday, and back down to under 20 degrees by the middle of the week.
