An official source at the airline told Lusa News Agency that the meeting was attended by more than 95% of the share capital of TAP SGPS.

The meeting "approved the usual points on the AGM agenda for the year ended on 31 December 2017", the source said.

The TAP SGPS profit of €21.2 million was €49 million better than the previous year’s €27.7 million loss.

The Atlantic Gateway Consortium, which belongs to Humberto Pedrosa and David Neeleman, owns 45% of the TAP Group (TAP SGPS), the Portuguese state, through Parpública owns 50% and the other 5% is held by the company’s employees.
