Tourist robbed by bogus police officers in Lisbon

A tourist in Lisbon was robbed by two convicts posing as police officers after they accosted him near Restauradores Square in Lisbon.

The robbery took place inside a hostel in the Portuguese capital. The 24-year-old Brazilian was forced by the two men pretending to be undercover police officers to take them to his hostel, where they made off with €2,500. The case happened in April; both assailants have now been caught after one fled Portugal for a while.
