The Met Office has forecast thermometers could reach up to 30 degrees Celsius in parts of Portugal later this week.
The weather gradually started improving from Monday, with the best days being predicted between Tuesday and Thursday.
However, thermometers are expected to drop again from Friday, and the rain could return for the coming weekend.
