Lisbon: Heavy rain on Friday will become lighter on Saturday and dry up completely on Sunday, although the weekend will be particularly chilly, with lows of around 6 degrees Celsius and highs of 12. The coming week in the capital is also looking colder, especially at night, and wet.
South: The Algarve might notice the temperature difference more than elsewhere in Portugal as winter so far has been relatively mild. Rain, at times heavy, will fall on Friday and Saturday; Sunday will be brighter and dry, but temperatures will plunge to overnight lows of just a few degrees Celsius.
North: Heavy rain is forecast for the start of the coming week in northern Portugal, particularly the Porto area, although Saturday and Sunday should be dry with some sun coming through. However, this brighter, drier weather will push the mercury down to chilly lows of three degrees Celsius and highs of around 10.
