Among those arrested over Saturday and Sunday were 115 people for drunk-driving, 22 for driving without a license, 11 for drug trafficking and five for theft. The detentions were made as part of a nationwide crack-down on violent crime and road offences. A large amount of drugs and several weapons were also seized during the campaign which saw over 7,300 drivers and their vehicles inspected.

So they should clamp down on these drivers who refuse to comply with the law. The problem is the punishment never fits the crime exactly the same as the UK. The police should impound the car for a period to fit the crime at least six months and then make them pay for the storage when it's released. Hit them where they feel it most it's the only way they will learn, get tuff stop pussy footing around with them.
