Lisbon: A couple of short, sharp showers are forecast for Christmas day in the capital, and the rainclouds (and possibility of rain) will stick around for much of the following week, before drying up and being generally overcast for the New Year.
The North: Northern Portugal is looking bright but cold up until Christmas Eve, after which a solid week of showers is forecast, but the good news is the constant drizzle looks set to clean up for the year end celebrations and the sun might even come out on New Year’s day.
The South: Southern Portugal looks set to follow Lisbon’s lead, with a possibly wet Christmas Eve and day, heavier showers throughout the following week, and a partly cloudy but dry and bright-ish New Year.
