This year the park will stay open until 31 October and features a remodelled aquarium, which includes new marine species, and an enlarged Era T-Rex dinosaur area.
Also this year, last year’s newest addition, the huge Zoomarine beach, celebrates its first anniversary with new water slides and a new magic fountain.
All of the fun attractions complement the educational side of Zoomarine to make it one of the Algarve’s most interesting and enjoyable days out for all family members and worthy of the plethora of prizes and awards it has scooped in recent years.
Meanwhile the park has also won an award for ‘Best Park/Best Tourist Entertainment Company’. Zoomarine scooped the prestigious accolade in this year’s Portugal Trade Awards, created by Publituris magazine and the national tourism board.
The Algarve theme park fought off competition for the likes of Lisbon Zoo, Lisbon Oceanarium and the Badoca Safari Park.
Zoomarine is also promoting the exclusive offer of a 50 percent discount on tickets for residents in the Algarve during the month of March.
