The districts of Viseu, Santarém, Lisbon, Leiria, and Coimbra will be under yellow warning between 3am and 12pm on Tuesday and Porto, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Aveiro and Braga between 3am and 9am.

The IPMA has also issued a yellow warning for the districts of Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga due to sea disturbances, with northwest waves with 4 to 5 meters to be expected between 3am on Tuesday and 7am on Thursday.

The IPMA's forecast for today on mainland Portugal is generally cloudy skies, periods of light rain or showers and weak to moderate southwest wind, sometimes blowing strong in the highlands from the afternoon and the northern coast at the end of the day.

The forecast also points to fog or mist in some places, especially until mid-morning, increase in the minimum temperature, except in the northern coast, and small decrease in the maximum, especially in the North and Centre regions. The minimum temperatures will range today between 8 degrees (in Bragança) and 15 (in Lisbon) and maximum between 12 (in Guarda) and 22 (in Faro).
