Lisbon: The hottest day of the weekend is to be Saturday with temperatures reaching 34 degrees before dropping down to 31 degrees on Sunday. From Monday intermittent cloud is predicted but there will still be no chance of rain and temperatures are to reach average daily highs of 28 degrees and lows of 17 degrees.

The north: It will be bright and warm over the weekend with sunny spells and temperatures reaching average highs of 26 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. The weather is to continue along the same lines for the remainder of the week before heating up again on Thursday when highs are to reach 27 degrees.

The centre: High temperatures are expected all weekend, peaking at 38 degrees on Saturday before cloud cover increases on Sunday. The high temperatures are to continue for the remainder of the week although it will be feeling slightly cooler with daily average maximums of 34 degrees and nightly lows of 19 degrees.

The south: The hottest day of the weekend is set to be Sunday when the thermometers are to reach 35 degrees in the south with clear skies and no chance of rain. Cloud cover is to increase from Monday but it will remain hot with temperatures reaching 36 degrees before dropping slightly for the rest of the week.

Madeira: Intermittent cloud is predicted over the weekend with most cloud expected on Sunday. Temperatures throughout the weekend and the following week are to remain steady with average daily highs of 24 degrees and nightly lows of 19 degrees.

The Azores: Heavy rain is expected on Saturday although it will still feel mild with highs of 22 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. The rain is to ease on Sunday before returning again on Monday with showers predicted for throughout the week and average daily highs of 23 degrees.
