"Due to the speed with which tickets for the concert on November 6th sold out and the high demand that continues to be felt, Madonna announces a second and final date on November 7th at the Altice Arena", explains the promoter.

At official points of sale, the price of tickets varies between 40 euros and 300 euros. Tickets for this second date will go on sale from 10:00 am on January 27th and "fan club members will have access to a pre-sale on Wednesday between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm ".

Madonna's concerts in Lisbon are part of the world tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of her career.

"The Celebration Tour", produced by Live Nation, starts July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, at Rogers Arena, arriving in Europe in the fall and, given the demand for tickets, new dates have already been added.

Madonna last performed in Lisbon in January 2020, as part of the “Madame X” European tour, which took place in smaller, more intimate venues.

The first time Madonna performed in Portugal was in 2004, when she closed the "Re-Invention Tour" in Lisbon.

The following year she performed in Lisbon at the MTV European Music Awards ceremony, and then returned to the Portuguese capital in 2008. In 2012 she performed at Estádio Cidade de Coimbra.
