We’ve lived here for almost twenty years now, and the Portuguese “non use” of indicators always drove me mad.

However, now it’s just one of those things that to me makes the algarve so special, and everytime I sit at a road end and then at the last second the indicator comes on, I smile, instead of throwing my arms in the air.

Take it all on the chin Mr Davies, and instead think how many times you’ve heard Portuguese drivers blow their horn at each other in frustraion. Answer, very rarely.

Suck it up and just smile that you’re lucky enough to be able to live in this beautiful country.
