Madonna is scheduled to perform a concert in November, in Lisbon, as part of her world tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of her career.

According to promoters Ritmos e Blues, “The Celebration Tour” includes a concert in Lisbon, at the Altice Arena, on November 6.

Tickets will be on sale from 10:00 am on Friday, “at www.meoblueticket.pt and other usual places”. Before that, on Wednesday, there will be a pre-sale for the fan club, between 09:00 and 18:00.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, at Rogers Arena, arriving in Europe in the autumn.

Madonna last performed in Lisbon in January 2020, as part of the “Madame X” European tour, which took place in smaller, more intimate venues.

The “Madame X” tour and the album were creatively influenced by Madonna's experience in Lisbon in previous years, where she came into contact with Portuguese-speaking and Latin culture.

Made in collaboration with French producer Mirwais, the album “Madame X” includes collaborations with Brazilian singer Anitta and Colombian musician Maluma.

The first time Madonna performed in Portugal was in 2004, when she closed the "Re-Invention Tour" in Lisbon.

The following year she performed in Lisbon at the MTV European Music Awards ceremony, having returned to the Portuguese capital in 2008. In 2012 she performed at Estádio Cidade de Coimbra.
