The final of the Portuguese Super Cup will be played at the Estádio Algarve, between Loulé and Faro, on 4 August.

Close to 24,000 tickets will be made available to both clubs, a figure still far from the maximum capacity of the stadium which has just over 30,000 seats.

Sporting has stated however that only 9,712 of the club’s total tickets are up for sale for fans, as 2,681 are reserved for institutional commitments, agreements with sponsors, clubs and sponsors.

The game, which will start at 8.45pm on 4 August, marks the beginning of the 2019/20 football season, with national champions Benfica taking on Portuguese Cup winners Sporting.

Tickets for the upcoming Supercup at the Algarve stadium go on sale from next Tuesday, 16 July. Tickets will cost between €15 and €35
