1,600 workers of TAP group to leave by end of year

The Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Pedro Nuno Santos, announced today, in the parliament, that 1,600 workers of the TAP group will leave by the end of the year.

1,200 employees have already exited the company. The government official denied data presented by the Left Block, which said 1,500 TAP cabin crew would be leaving, saying that this would be 80% of the workforce, and ensured that the 1,600 workers who will leave are from across the entire group and not just the airline.
