Nine people have died in outbreak of Legionella in northern Portugal

Nine people have died in an outbreak of Legionella in northern Portugal.

The outbreak was detected in the counties of Matosinhos, Vila do Conde, and Póvoa do Varzim in the Greater Porto region. Deaths due to the disease in that area have been registered since 30 October, and 79 cases have been diagnosed, linked to the outbreak.
