The rain that fell in October and November in the Algarve relieved some of the pressure on farmers, but it did not rule out the possibility of rationing dam water for agriculture, something that is worrying farmers. Facing a succession of years in severe and extreme drought, the rain that fell in the region in recent weeks has helped to replace part of the water storage system of the eastern Algarve, where the effects of drought are more pronounced.
